- Ensure you are not using a retinol or tretinoin for 2 weeks prior.
Best results are seen if you prepare the skin with Obagi home care for at least 2 weeks before the first peel. We recommend using an Obagi Renewal product as a minimum to repair and strengthen the skin which will also help achieve optimum results from the skin peel and minimise any irritation.
Initially you will experience redness of the skin for 3-24hours.
However after the redness has reduced you will see the benefits of refined pores, clearer skin, reduction in redness, improvement in texture and acne breakouts. Plus, smoother, brighter and more hydrated skin.
- No sunbeds/sunny holidays/extreme sun exposure for 4 weeks after.
- Ultra Shield SPF 50 as directed
- No makeup for 24hours
- Let your skin exfoliate naturally. DO NOT pick or peel the affected area, or scarring may occur.
- Avoid excessive heat, hot rooms and hot water temperature for 48hours
- Avoid use of Retin-A (or similar product) for 48 hours following procedure if signs of irritation are not present.
- Do not use laser or similar methods of hair removal (wax/depilatories) 48 hours following the procedure.
- Continue taking all prescribed medications unless otherwise directed
- If no signs of irritation are present, you may shave treated area 24 hours post procedure.
Immediately. It is normal to experience mild stinging and tightness, but it should subside within 24-48hours following the procedure.
